Why have I been charged for a premium rated SMS (PSMS)?
Premium rated SMS offers premium content to users (eg. competitions) at a price determined by the owner of the service (and the service provided). The revenue generated from members using premium rated SMS is shared between the telephone network and the owner of the number providing the service/content.

PhonepayPlus are a partner of Ofcom, they regulate phone-paid services in the UK, premium rate goods and services that you can buy by charging the cost to your phone bill.
